 March 2019 to March 2023 - Designer, sports, formerly on dailies news team Design sports pages, write headlines, review and edit stories and cutlines.

December 2004 to January 2005 - Interim editor Filled in while paper searched for permanent editor. Supervised staff of two reporter/editors, one page designer, stringers and at various times, interns. After permanent editor hired, remained on staff as primary news reporter. Covered two-week trial of Christopher Pittman, which drew national attention. After being named 2005 Journalist of the Year, promoted to editor.
